So, what should you expect when you're coming to see us for the first time...
Well, first, to find us, come in through the garden on the east side of
the building, right off of Stover St. Look for a sign out on the east
side of the building pointing you in the right direction.
We are a casual group; so, dress is casual. Jeans or shorts are
fine. Some people sit at round tables. Others prefer to sit in
chairs that are not at a table. Whatever suits you is good by us.
Before 10:45, the band will be warming up, but
everybody else seems to show up around 10:45ish. You know how it is...
It's
a small group right now, so you won't be able to remain completely
anonymous, but we want to get to know you at whatever pace is
comfortable for you.
Services include a handful of uplifting
songs, sharing of joys and concerns with a follow-up prayer, a
spiritual message with discussion, opportunities for
silent prayer or meditation.
We also talk about what's coming up during the week, going to a coffee
shop for discussion, or helping out around town. You are welcome to
join us at any and all events.
